At Canines By Chris we are insured, bonded and utilize scientifically supported fear free training methods to help get the desired behaviors from your dog.

Chris, our lead trainer, holds the designation Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) from the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers. Further, Chris is a Positive Approach Canine Education (Instructor) graduate and also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Zoology from the University of Guelph with a focus on animal behavior and genetics. Since February 2021 Chris has been employed as an Animal Behavior Councilor with the Behavior Department at the Cochrane and Area Humane Society.
